This is a demo for Iron Diamond, a 2D metroidvania that blends the mechanics of the metroid series, but set in the world of Kindara, a lush, bright, medieval land inspired by the fields, castles, and dungeons of Zelda's Hyrule! 

Explore an interconnected map. Discover new abilities that allow you to open previously-locked pathways. The game features melee combat, range combat, and platforming challenges!

W, A, S, D or arrow keys - movement and menu navigation

H - Heal (when heal rune equipped)

J - Punch and menu select/OK

K - Shoot and menu cancel/back button

L - Climb (when climb rune equipped)

I - Dash (when dash rune equipped -- not available for demo v0.1)

O - Grapple Hook (when grapple hook equipped -- not available for demo v0.1)

Spacebar - Jump

U - Menu

Esc - Return to main menu option

Gamepad

d-pad or left analog - movement and menu navigation

RT/R2 - Heal (when heal rune equipped)

X (Gamepad) or Square (PS) - Punch
